KISS = Keep it simple stupid.
Here what I will do Long Ford Jan 2010 2.50 call @ 1.45 and short Jan 2010 5 call for 90 Cents. for 55 cents plus commission I will get 2.50 for every contract which is about 450 + % returned if exercised.
Ford can go up or down but chances are I will make money on it,
This strategy is good when markets are oversold and you buy max time. Time decay is biggest enemy of option traders.
Most trader are good in finding trend but they usually choose wrong expiry or strike and results are then sub par.
I am not very good trader but I do it for living, many people thought me so I am just sharing my view.
Divide your portfolio in 20 parts consider one part as X trade 1 X on one concept see how fast you grow.
On my board Roy is best day trader in options, he write occasionally now.
Increasing 5 % per day is possible in options with 25 % loser trades. which is huge when compounded.
