Chico-For once I am with you on the MACD. I have two 120" chart versions. The 120"LC is with DO and ADX. My 120"JR is with MACD and CCI72. I believe that the 120" chart may have a lot of potential, but I am not ready to give up on my 30" charts just yet. I do like your strategy of only trading at 10:30 and the close. That sure frees up a big part of the day to do other things. However, I have got to admit that if it takes the kind of leap of faith that had you go short Fri at the close, I have my doubts that it will work for me. But you know me, I am always ready to track and try something new.
For now I am short since 10:30 this morning and looks like I will stay that way as the market is now caving more.
