Hi porter, I appreciate the help. I do not have any pay for services like stockcharts etc so I look at yahoo for intraday.
I was seeing a triangle for the entire morning at the time and was if fact 10 minutes old when I posted. It had already broke upward when I refreshed the page some minutes later.

I was using pay for services some years ago, but I was really lagging at my manufacturing so I switched to long term investing for a while and just a few months ago started swing trading Q's etc. I have seen some extra time recently and have been trying to do more and more short term trades. Had a good run with QLD,BGU,FAS last week! I tried a scalp with QLD today but the NDX seems to be lagging.

I never really grasped e-wave to help. It seems to me that only a small handful can really use it to foresee anything everyone else is trying to figure out what just happened ie:
was that 123 or abc? You seem to have a good grasp on it. I look at Tea's charts and he makes it seem easy as well.
