"$0.6 may be too cheap for what we thought a litle while ago but it is a lot better than the less than $0.31 that we would get from LFB come next summer..."
This brings me to my point...I don't know what the future holds for the value of what GTCB technology has to bring. Notice I said technology, not Atryn, not next summer...the future goes beyond next summer and always will. But one way to assure that it doesn't is to not support them...sure, I"m pissed too, I like everyone else in this money obsessed world wants NOW, not later...but, GTCB is not doing this and never was for Atryn...they are doing it because they'll be the first and as far as I can see it the potential is limitless and adaptable. But one thing it isn't is "been there done that"...so to say shoulda/woulda/coulda is a waste of time in my mind. What's important to me is the efficacy, safety, and potential of what it is they really are going for and that is their production platform...To me, that is alive and well and we are on the doorstep of it being approved. As far as Atryn in europe, come one, it's europe, since when have they done anything collectively. What's important, again, is here and it always will be with GTCB. The FDA is conservative and behind the times and Big Pharm rules...hopefully that will change and if any of us should be writing angry letters and holding anyone accountable it should be our respective senators as to why FOB legislation is so slow.
I truly don't believe that they want to sell out to LFB, that was their intention nor do I believe they will be. But notice I used the words "believe", because I dont know and to suggest otherwise would be false. To suggest, as many have that .31 is what we could get from LFB is just as false because it assumes many more things to come...all negative.
my initial stance remains. Some of us see what they are worth and accept that expectations might not be met in the near term either way. But one way to assure they won't be in the long term is to not support their financing. Sure, they want it because they need it, they want their salaries, but they also want that FDA approval and validation. LEt's at least hold our judgments until all that we have been waiting for occurs, not beforehand...
