Yeah ye are. You still remember the 5&10, and still remember tubes.

That makes you an ancient ole cuss. Me, I still remember when RADIOS were a novelty in my part of the country. Only a few stations on the air, the strongest accros the RIO GRANDE near del Rio, Tx.

A strong one in Nawleans where LOUIE picked gittar and sang Cajun. The announcer was fond of singing too, "Oh My Pretty Quadroon" was his favorite. He would be fired if he was still alive and tried that one now.

Woolworth's 5 & 10 - Those were the days! Like most of the teenagers in my neighborhood, I worked p/t in our local Woolworth's on Friday night and Saturday for little money. That was long before central cashier stations came into vogue and each department, (stationary was mine) had their own cash register. We had fun while learning responsibility at the same time.
