another history lesson in the lack of vision by democrats, and the democrats fight against the promotion of freedom in the world, now and then
reagan was a man of vision who saw that his support of the freedom fighters in nicaraugua was about to actualize into freedom itself.........it was the democrats fight against reagan which prompted them to cut off any u.s. aid to that region.......why?......because they hated reagan too, and did not want him to have another victory for freedom (actually, because the democrats don't have any vision, they really didn't realize that they were fighting against this soon-coming freedom in nicaraugua)
reagan, like gwb, was also a president who surrounded himself with the best of the best, and then trusted them for their experience-laden decision making prowess........just as in the business world, great managers delegate authority to those who can best decide how that authority is used
specifically, when the democrats so callously took away the hopes of freedom, so close at hand, in central america, reagan simply asked his crew, "any ideas to get money to them?".........the obvious answer was yes, at which point the orders were given to get it done
did reagan know?...maybe, maybe not........my guess is that his smart guys knew that plausible deniability was the best course of action, and that reagan didn't specifically know........does it really matter if he knew or not?...isn't the important result the fact that freedom was accomplished in nicaraugua?
apparently, not to y'all, who seem to consistently fight against others right to fight for freedom.......the one thing you can always count on with y'all is that you were on the wrong side then, and are on the wrong side now
