Splitting hairs? I can see many consider Paradigm Tactical and Global Detector the same company. But it is not.
I would not have a problem with the distribution chain if Paradigm had just setup Global Detector as an inside department. But Global Detector is an independent company with its own profit, clients, products, etc.
Stockholders do not own Global Detector. How is profit and expenses shared? You care because you hope to benefit by Paradigm's reported profit -not Global Detector's.
It matters a lot just who pays those "sales employees." and their expenses - A lot of expense. And where is the profit divided? Paradigm is a manufacturer of its products and a distributor of Sam Young's. Global is one step away down the chain with different profit.
Best to look at Paradigm, what it owns, what it sells - and treat Global Detector as the private company it is. Now, just who pays those 13 employees?
You RECEIVED the call. THE MIKE placed the call to Global Detector at its Boxford office. The person who answered was speaking for Global Detector - until someone can clarify the relationship. I have asked the company to clarify the relationship - one of the 7 questions.
It may seem like one happy family sharing alike; but not the way to do business. For the shareholders, no way to see which shell the pea is under.
