I agree with everything you posted here and it is not just 700 billion BUT trillions and the government is trying to take over our free market system. BUT I don't think there is much difference in John McCain or Obama so we were screwed in trying to vote someone in to defy or stand up for the people and our freedoms. IMO the elect thing does not matter and you will have the pain staking effort to watch this anti-Christ try and take capitalism to it's knees BUT many Republicans are on his side too including McCain on many topics AND votes !! My hopes and prayers are we stand strong enough to get a real conservative movement to swing us back to the "right" side next time around.

This might seem like nitpicking to some, but why does the
U.S. news media refer to Barack Obama as "President-elect?"

According to the Constitution, the presidential election
happens December 15th, when state electors cast their votes
for president.

Shouldn't he be referred to as "presumptive president-elect?"

Should some scandal erupt between now and December 15th,
such as Obama being involved somehow in a crime,
the electors could choose John McCain -
or some other candidate for president.
