A "collaborative competition"...good description BJ. And to a certain extent that's allready happening within some of our "players"...to their credit.
Crude Oil, for those who had it this past century, and those who wanted it, has caused world conflicts...not good. We have a chance to undo some of that with Algae (should it live up to the promise). A spirit of sharing should prevail... and there will still be plenty of profits for the pioneers of the industry.
btw- I'm not sure enviromental NGO's are on board with Algal fuels. Surprisingly many of them aren't as up to speed as you might expect...or if they are they're hiding it well. Mention "Algae" to many enviromentalists and they bristle...the presence of it at many dams across the country is how they plan to approach the courts on why they should be torn down. I realise it's different argument altogether but I'll never understand why they don't like and promote hydro-power??? It's a mystery.
