Forget it. Allowing mods to delete a sticky post after the 15 minute window is not going to happen.

That would open a big hole for moderator abuse. The sticky note is just a copy of a post you made earlier. If you could edit the sticky note after the edit time you would also be editing the original post.

Mods could abuse the system by taking any post that they made in the last day or two and temporarily making it the sticky note so that they could edit the post and then remove it as the sticky note.
