Just finished playing a reverse merger a few months ago...

Sonus Pharmaceuticals announced the planned reverse merger with Oncogenex in May 2008, and the stock got hammered, and eroded further. The date the reverse merger was closed official, which was in August...

The stock ran 100%.

This will run when the deal reaches conclusion. There is still uncertainty and players are still on the sidelines, or not willing to pay before seeing the complete numbers.
