#3115 RE: TRADER-B #3114

With everyone looking to cut back on expenses due to this stinging recession, it is the worst possible time for a product launch which requires a higher $$$ cost outlay from the prospective buyers/users(doctors). Cytocore is fighting a tremendous headwind to make sales. I only hope they can pull it off before they run out of funds, but I have my doubts...

When I spoke to McCullough, he seemed a forthright individual and took as much time as needed to answer my questions. He mentioned that a financing would have to be done at some time so that ramping up the sales ASAP was imperative (They are targeting meaningful Sales results by 1st quarter 2009). He said that they were running a lean operation with only 11 employees who all took substantial pay cuts (his was 66% as I recall) and that they were all working extremely hard to make this thing fly. I came away from the conversation feeling that he had been even handed in his assessment.

Frankly, my outlook for Cytocore's success in this environment is pessimistic.
