Thanks for the tip on the Intl funds. I will follow them along with the NDX. If they closely track, it might be a good idea to use them in lieu of the NDX.
Yeah I was leary of taking a short position today, given that the market may launch another big upside release while I miss out.
The Up/down volume ratio was close to a long signal.
That said, it may not have been a good idea to jump into the shorts right away. When coming out of a bear (into either a bull or Bear rally), I could get locked into a short for several days while the markets rally. And we just had one of the most viscious selloffs ever.
I didn't get the gain with which to "afford" such a loss.
