GENR seems to view IR as an unwanted expense rather than an opportunity. When I’ve called GENR’s IR, the answer to a non-trivial question is almost always, “I’ll check and get back to you…”
In contrast, I called GTCB’s IR a couple of weeks ago and asked a number of probing questions during an extended conversation. Not once did GTCB’s IR guy feed me that annoying “I’ll get back to you” line. (I’ve since increased my GTCB holding substantially.)
