Under ANY other circumstances, Obama wouldnt have made it past first base.
Imagine during peacetime and a vibrant economy, a candidate with endorsements from the likes of Iran, Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, Hamas, the PLO, Wright, Ayers and his ilk would get ANYWHERE in the United States of America.
America has been so worn down with shell shock from 9/11, afghanistan, Iraq, the economic crisis and their hatred for the decider, they did an entire 180.
Emotion wont fix this country's problems...The fact that McCain was the alternative made it even worse.
We were screwed this election cycle IMO and we will pay dearly for it. When Obama fails, dont blame him.
