EDIT: overachiever, I'll read your article later. I agree with you, or at least think I do. Emanuel would not be my first choice, BUT he can get things done. I was talking to my husband tonight (once again), about my biggest worry about Obama and that is that AIPAC will have a major stranglehold on him. But then, AIPAC has a stranglehold on everyone.

This is also exactly what I'm waiting to see......

Judgement should be reserved until we can see who he appoints to key cabinet positions..

Although he has made some positive comments about rebuilding our own infrastructure, his appointments could tell a different tale.

On a side note, I've been reading the political boards lately and I believe you are the one person who seems to have the same thoughts as I have had. Even the things you mention in posts, one after the other, are the same things that have interested me while I've been absorbing all the information there is to absorb from the political pundits on tv. My free trial membership runs out at midnight tonight, so don't think I'm ignoring you if I don't reply after Sunday.
