Joe,
An "ingot" is defined in the dictionary as:
"a mass of metal cast in a convenient form for shaping, remelting, or refining."
Where and when did you see the ingot? TAO did update the website, but I never saw a picture of an ingot. There are some old photos, which is misleading, but they are mostly shots of a bunch of rocks that might have gold in them and might or might not be El Colmillo. With all due respect, I believe you are mistaken about an ingot.
Since the posting of the photos, TAO has indicated that they have begun extracting ore and they are stockpiling it in preparation for the installation of the jaw crusher. They also indicated that the plan is to start processing the extracted ore within days of their original projection, which was approximately mid-November, 2008 (see press release from about two months ago). Now, if they do not have extracted ore stockpiled and if they do not start processing it within a couple of weeks, then that would seem highly deceptive.
Like many of the stockholders here, I'm skeptical and concerned about the future, but there is not enough information to indicate fraud, imo. A risky and perhaps insane investment choice, definitely. It appeals to the greedy side of my personality which is usually bad for me.
I guess we will see soon enough.
