My sense is that the "spartan" terms that cor is likely to be offered will provide operating costs for at best another year. If this is correct, a deal won't impact share-price, and in the current risk-averse market rich in other tempting stocks, I don't expect cor to move much.

Faced with dwindling cash, mediocre partnership terms in the medium-term, and the absence of alternative mechanisms to raise funds, wouldn't it make sense for cor to entertain buyout offers?

My sense is that companies that have the cash are more interested in owning the microcap biotechs whose IP portfolio looks interesting to them.

I hope they close a deal soon, because time isn't on their side.

The takehome for me is grim: the funding environment that microcap biotechs need to survive has been destroyed. Without microcap biotechs, innovation dries up.

Well Neuro, it wouldn't be the first time that COR, full of confidence, went "all in" pre-flop with a pair of twos. I hope that this isn't the case. What is happening to the IP is a real shame. Disgusting, in my opinion.
