LOL!! You miss my point. We should not give a damn which faction does what. It is not any of our business.
We should butt out of the religious conflicts in that area.
So nong as we can trade with them, and buy their oil, nothing else is of any threat to us.
Going back further, the early 1990s conflict should have gotten Saddam. Bush I and his confederates (a good many of which are actually running the presemt operation)...did not finish the job. They even had a balls out PATTON type of General that they should have turned loose back then, and told him to GO!!
I admire your knowledge of the area, and the different factions, but I really do not much care which faction eventually dominates.
