yeah well vix ticking new lows while the markets are red doesn't turn me on.

This could be my shakeout but I just couldn't take the underlying strength that keeps sneaking in...

This could be that sideways trade you typed about?
XLF 15+/- 18+/-
Trading in that range doesn't do anything for my position
and I should wait for it to drain off to reestablish a short
to do the original job I had intended.
