the fees will be minimum of 6-12 months of losses, including one or two blown-out accounts. hehe

if you're a novice and start a stock position from your own dd, you might not get in at the most optimal entry price and not have enough conviction to hold on to it when the shake out occurs. price entry is very important, it allows you to sleep better at night. novice investors will not know when to get in or out of a position.

paper trade for at least several months, and monitor some of the hot hands here, other boards, and Internet.

The fees are minimal. The risk in futures is huge. Options are my favorite. I wouldnt touch options or futures unless you really know what you are doing, or just wanting to take a lot of risk! Futures are very very risky, but also very very rewarding, as are options.

If your a novice in the options market you can expect to lose all your money. Paper trade (be honest) for a few months.
