All of chapter 11 bankrupcy companies must cancel the old common stock on the date they emerge with new issued common stock with new sympbol,new pre-set price. everything will be new,just like IPO stock. Of course, if company still have enough equity left for common shareholders. Old shareholders will get some shares of new issued stock or warrant. it all depend on how much equity left for common shareholder.
