I know I'm not sure... just throwing thoughts out there, and assuming there could be other arrangements we do not know about. These guys are sharks… I doubt they left anything up to chance/Steve. They’ll find something to use as leverage to hold him in with them.

I was told by XND that they hold the patent and since NUBV now owns XND I would venture to say NUBV now is at the helm. That is why that 6 month window to sh*t or get off the pot went away.
But then again, that was probably a lie also.
