I wonder how many gallons of diesel fuel a day this would save for the average truck? Even 3-5 gallons a day from not idling would be significant, with todays fuel prices. What if the diesel truck engines waste 10 gallons or more a day idling. An independent trucker might save $500-$1000 a month or more depending on how many days a month you were running.
