Interferon: (and this also answers rkrw), because I cannot tolerate Inf. Inf remains the primary toxin in the cocktail. Shortening the duration of treatment certainly helps; however, even a "short" course of 24 weeks is still too detrimental.
When any treatment regime materializes of either
a. less than 24 weeks without Inf, or,
b. less than 13 weeks with Inf, with greater SVR
I'll re-evaluate. Not everyone is sacrificing their liver without treatment; the virus takes a different course in different patients. My liver is fine.
