In TS that's a piece of cake. There are builtin scans for price, volume, etc. that you can tweak to your parameters, or you can just use EasyLanguage to write your own. Once you've got them set up the way you want them, you just apply them to a database of your choosing (Naz100 stocks, a particular industry, new highs/new lows, custom database, whatever), set your alert, and TS will monitor the database constantly automatically sorting on your parameters and alerting you when a stock meets all your criteria.
Maybe you should look at TS again, Lee. Sounds like it would meet your scanning and charting needs all on one trading platform. You'd have to be prepared to spend some time mastering the system, but once you do, your (trading) life would be much easier. On second thought, maybe you could talk Plugger into setting it up for you so all you'd have to do is chose your poison. LOL
