bonnie: I don't think TPK can be Palm, but it's a bit easier to make up a story where he's actually Jason Dallas. Dallas goes to Polish prison in 1995 for 4 1/2 years. Acs doesn't seem to leave any trace in the public record from 1995 (when he & Aerial filed for BR in Washington) and around 1999/2000 when he surfaces on the Internet doing PennyKing stuff.
Maybe Dallas assumed the identity of the real Acs on his return to North America, to cover up his past. Or maybe Dallas was Acs all along, leading some kind of double-identity existence between Vancouver and Washington, back in the early 90's.
It'd be an excellent story if true! And following TPK's lead, why let truth stand in the way of a good story? :):):)
