it can be rushed if they have too. bang through it over the weekend. this bailout is somewhat toxic to politicians too. anyone who goes against what dodd put forth will commit career suicide. next election will kill them. I can imagine the attack ads now.
Friday is the last day unless they can't come to an agreement on this. The will work the weekend if they have to to get this through. But I've seen bills fast track. first half in the am second half in the pm on the presidents desk by end of day.
