My accountant tells me not to worry. First of all there is no report to the IRS nor 1099 issued. Also, these dividends have been suspended due to bankruptcy and not defered to be later paid. There can be no assumption at these point that any dividends will be paid at a later date and therefor no tax with held nor income reported.
