Little Chico - I am totally impressed that you can read and use the Flex Charts. To me they are terrible. I had to use the old Java based charts Thur and Fri and they were okay, but I really missed the paint bars big time. I hope you read my post about my QT dialog. I am able to feed my QT charts with either IB or OX data. I use the IB Trade Station for my trades, so as I was watching the Java charts feed by OX, several times I noticed that on the IB screen that OX was behind the market several times by several seconds. I remember at one point that the Q's had moved about 10 ticks before it ever showed up on the Java charts. Not good.

I sent an email to QT again on Thur and this time I got someone to answer who actually understood what was going on. It appears that my whole problem all along has been that I had the spike filter set too low. When I disabled it all my issues seem to have gone away.

Oh, and by the way now I have gone to Stock Charts and set that up so I can look at the $BPNDX and $NDXA50R charts. Great charts.

Thanks for your feedback,
Jon

Little Chico - Are you not using IB for your trades? Their data feed is free with $30 in commissions per month, other wise they charge $10 that month. The $1 commission ($.005/ shr) is by far the cheapest I have seen. There is no way I could do what I am doing if I had to pay $5+ per trade. If you don't use them, why not?
