My New Feature Idea for Promoting Boards

This would be a somewhat complicated feature to implement so I'm probably wasting my keyboard's breathe posting this but why not implement some kind of system that would help both promote new boards and create a better "flow" of traffic throughout the site (ie getting more users to visit a more diverse selection of boards).

My idea is this, a click for click exchange with an adsense-like layout in a small corner of the site. A board mod can sign up for it and for every click that their board generates they will receive a click from someone else's board, similar to BlogRush ( http://www.blogrush.com/ ), which has been very popular on blogs.

It can be just a very small box of contextual advertising (and each board mod that signs up can create their own adcopy below the title of the board). Very similar to a Half Banner (234x60) used in Adsense:

I just thought of this out of nowhere for no reason, thought It'd be a cool idea.

Matt, my idea for IHUB is to have a serious knowledge ranking board.

This board could allow users to take a copy-cat series-7 exam and the score would dictate each members rank.If some members volunteer...then this ranking information could be available via their personal profile page...since its a fake exam with a real grading system in place...IHUB can add additional questions pertaining specifically to the penny markets and charting...just an idea...Your comments as to this idea would be appreciated.

IMO, it would benefit IHUB in general,in a massive way, to have a technical view of some of the posters here,in terms of who really knows what...many will choose not to take the test...but I wonder how many would?...think about it...we all use technical charts to track stocks...why not have a technical chart on posters as well???
