That very well may be so but we need high oil prices to intice folks to look for oil. Where are they going to look for oil? It will be in the oceans such as PBR has done. If oil is sitting at $85, why go to the expense to drill elsewhere. It's how OPEC keeps us addicted to the current situation, IMO.
That chart that shows the PPS of oil and DPDW is not a fluke. You can pretty much put it up against any oil related company and see the relationship. That's pretty strong evidence of the relationship and has to be more than just "co-incidental."
But my main point for buying DPDW is the management team in place and the growth shown so far. Timming this with a good entry on the chart is a great way to play it. If I wasn't as excited as I was when I had a little dry powder, I would have waited a little longer to buy in. The chart was still showing a little room to go down, IMO.
That's all gone now. I think we are in good shape and should move up from here without much resistance. Just a thoguht or two.
