p.s. The term penny stock, as it is used on most message boards, applies not to the price of a share but rather to where the stock trades. Stocks that trade on the pink sheets are generally considered penny stocks, even if they sell for more than a dollar per share; conversely, those that trade on Nasdaq are generally not considered penny stocks even if the share price is less than a dollar.
Corollary: A penny stock does not become a non-penny stock merely by implementing a reverse split.
