Alpharma receives offer from King Pharmaceutical (KG) to acquire all shares at $37/share (ALO) 37.38 : King Pharmaceuticals (KG) announces that it commenced a tender offer, through a wholly owned subsidiary, to acquire all of the outstanding shares of Class A Common Stock of Alpharma (ALO) for $37/share in cash. This price represents a total equity value of approx $1.6 bln and an enterprise value of approx $1.4 bln.
