CrocHntr: that's amazing bad luck .... stop loss limit orders are a double edged sword and I don't like them .... but it depends on one's investment style, and of course they can sometimes help. I prefer to rely on underlying fundamentals and am often more inclined to average down on a selloff rather than bail out.
