Don't be too quick to buy "the" bottom, unless you are timing a bounce. And with the NYA close to testing its falling support line of its long term falling wedge, a bounce is possible in here, but a break below would not be good unless of course you are short. So put your daily NYA chart on semi-log scale and draw a line anchored from the 1/23 low to the 7/15 low and extend right. Keep an eye on it, currently roughly at 8018.
If ajtj's Happy Family theory comes into play, the rest of the major indexes have some catching up to do. Time will tell...
