I can't figure out what they are doing with those short sections of umbilicals.

The ones they are working with now look to be about 35-40ft.

All I can think of is designing a new termination flange or fitting. Probably another load test on the prototype when finished.

These look the same as others they have done before but there must be a difference, hence the qualification test that I presume will come.
