This is a McCain blunder....
The Demos will have two strong candidates, the Repubs just one. Biden, at least, has been in the national scene for years and had the decency to run for the office and debate the others. She has been up north, immersed in tiny-minded political goings on, and I don't believe she's done anything much worth scandalizing her, but she's just SUCH an unknown quantity.
McCain is patronizing women by this choice: Oh, so you wanted a woman did you? Well, here's one, whatsit matter who she is!
Insulting, if you think about it.
I used to work with a guy many, many years ago, who'd joke that if you turned us all upside down and put a paper bag over our heads, you couldn't tell the difference.
McCain seems to think the same thing...
