Loop currents, new to me, in the Gulf similar to what supercharged Katrina and Rita. Followed this guy with Fay and he called the criss-cross across Florida.
There not wasting any time evacuating. I remember Bertha 1996 they were evacuating parts of Florida and the darn thing finally wound up coming thru our backyard in Wilmington, NC. Hurricanes are hard to pinpoint more than 3 days out. Still would not be suprised to see that cone of uncertainty move to the right.
