NASD will require the name of the divie company in order to put it on the daily list

EDIT;
Once it is there, normally it is a done deal, everything is known.

However, this company set up divies with NASD in the past and cancelled them at the last minute. So who knows

Hi EB, I have never received a dividend,and I am not sure of what the SEC requires. For example, if you're asking me once they announce the "Record Date," is Fortress required to announce the name of the actual company, I'm not sure, but I would assume that we will definitely need to know the name of company before we get the dividend.
