ODV5 Bug 2 maybe same bug... Auto Refresh [60 sec] will not refresh more than once. acts the same as Bug 1 freeze I need to close ODV5 and restart it I will try to * manually refresh it.
This might not be a bug in ODV5 but could be a closed door problem in QT. Because of my crappy dial up speed I get stopped quotes as QT searches for another working server. I have manually changed the server after the fact but the damage was already done "ODV5 was already frozen" If your testing proves it's my ring in speed problem you may want to add a Reboot button so I don't have to close it and return to my desktop to restart it. Just a thought.
Re: * manually refresh it... I went to my desktop I opened ODV5 I changed tickers to OEYIC for a single ticker test. I waited until I had bandwidth in QT "both OEYIC and oex were ticking" I went to ODV5 and I clicked refresh Nothing but the 3 dollar scale pasted on the screen... no option quotes in ODV5 I looked at the QT program and noticed I had no bandwidth So this might be a closed door problem from QT because of no bandwidth "My crappy ring in speed". If ODV5 tests the same with you please add a Reboot button I think it will fit under the Exit button Or you could replace the Exit button with the new Reboot button. I can X out of ODV5 to close it.
Maybe you could dream up something even more special like an auto reboot subroutine if no response... sort of thing. Just a thought... I don't know, I'll leave that to you. Thanks!
