I fail to see how added more shares helps liquidity. Interest in a stock drives liquidity.

it gives other institutions the opportunity to take positions large enough to matter. The S-1 folk probably want to get at least soem of their money back relatively soon. so now there's 57mil more shares out there for grabs. we'll see how high that bids us.
