you don't have a wireless phone running in the same frequency as your wifi, if they are both on 2.4ghz it will cause you problems.

WiFi problem - solution:-

"Automatically connect to Non-Preferred Network" I had checked this box when I turned on the WAP security. I have now unchecked it and I moved to channel 1 and the problem seems to have been solved.

BTW I have no idea what this box is supposed to do but I will find out.

I can currently see four APS but if more of them appear then I am not so sure.
