I think the differance between katrina and andrew in this presentation is that how it was handled. The people of katrina were abandoned after the storm. There were mercenaries running around treating people like shit and violating there rights. And a whole host of other ugly situations.......
No question both storms were very bad. But it's how the aftermath was handled. Not too mention the levee's that are said to be compromised even before the storm came. It was as they say, an accident waiting to happen.......
