Now a while back i bought some oak flooring from Menards that was on sale. It was already stained varnished and precut tongue and groove, ready to lay for around 2.25 a square foot. That was cheaper than what I got for some real good oak from the sawmill a couple years ago and veneer logs go lots higher especially walnut
