Das Forschungstauchboot DELTA ist ein kleines U-Boot mit zwei Mann Besatzung, das von einer Gruppe tauchender Geologen entworfen wurde. Es ist das vierte Boot der NEKTON-Serie, seine Vorläufer sind die ALPHA, BETA und GAMMA.

Grundlage meines Modells ist der Bausatz von Norbert Brüggen. Getaucht wird mittels Schlauchpumpe und Gummisack. Für den Antrieb nahm ich einen Motor aus einem alten Videorecorder.
Zur Technischen Ausrüstung meines Modells gehören eine Farb-Videokamera im Turm und eine sw-Videokamera im Bug (Übertragung des Videobildes über 25m Kabel oder Funkboje), eine 1,3M Digicam , ein Laser sowie Beleuchtung mit 17 LED's.

Great post JS, we have a few real DD machines here doing some great work.

While some stock boards are infested with "one liner" types, it's nice to have a stock board that has an abundance of sincere interest. More than just a handfull of good posters too.
