LOL, no he was a Democrat...His title was Republican, however his actions were nothing but Democrat (Liberal). I am not using the term "liberal" for this time period, because at that time way back when, there were NO Liberal Republicans...But there were plenty of Liberal Democrats... So Rockefeller was a Liberal Democrat with a Republican title, just like the Michael Bloomberg of TODAY...
P.S. Rockefeller was personally responsible for stealing my grandmother's property for STATE use, even though the STATE had plenty of vacant land available.
