qwave, my expectation for the SEMI equipment numbers were for bookings and billings to be a few % higher than last month. I don't guess at btb. If you look at the chart you see that bookings and billings are still below past cycle peaks - and that after several years of little investment in equipment [except for INTC].

Everyone tries to anticipate the bookings/billings peak and that makes investing tricky. I liked the V-shaped cycles in the past better. Stock price leads, as you can see here http://home.comcast.net/~gottfriedm/SEMIcharts/amat_prc.gif
