Is there going to be a takeover here worth 3 cents per share?
The simple answer is NO, NO WAY, and NEVER.
Let's look at the facts.
The current market cap of HGLC is 1.5 billion dollars.
The hyped bogus takeover price of HGLC is 8.82 billion dollars.
CDE (Coeur d'Alene Mines Corp.) is the world's largest, U.S.-based publicly traded silver producer, as well as a significant gold producer. In 2008, the Company expects to produce 13 million ounces of silver, and 24 million ounces in 2009. Our new San Bartolome mine in Bolivia, the world's largest pure silver mine, began production in June, and construction is well underway at another world-class silver mine - Palmarejo in Mexico, which will add to Company silver and gold production beginning next year. http://www.coeur.com/
It's market cap is only 1.3 billion dollars.
AU (AngloGold Ashanti) is South Africa's largest gold producer. Their market cap is currently 8.5 billion dollars. Still less than the purported "hostile" takeover price being offered for HGLC. http://www.anglogold.com/default.htm
HGLC is a company which doesn't mine any gold at all and whose mines are abandoned holes which have not been mined since before the 1940s. Nice website, btw lol: http://www.huntgoldcorp.com/
This story is the biggest bunch of BS I have ever seen anyone try to claim in the pinks.
