You are right but the opportunity will be shortlived and not based on likely based on company fundamentals or any reasons expectation that what the company says will ever happen. That leaves hype and manipulations very much in the driver's seat.
The ideal world IMO for SEC to require posters to declare their status as pumpers, hypers, dumpers, or investors; to allow companies two unfulfilled PRs, fold on the third, prisoner if their is a forth. Fantasy land. VERY MUCH SO!!
